If you’re waiting as eagerly as we are for the return of Kiefer Sutherland’s Touch, we have some good news
If you’re waiting as eagerly as we are for the return of Kiefer Sutherland’s Touch, we have some good news and some bad news …
After being bumped from an October premiere to mid-season, the supernatural family drama has just been pushed back another week on FOX’s winter schedule — to Friday, February 8 (8/7c).
The good news? Touch‘s second season premiere will be a 2-hour event, and get a little extra promotional boost from the network.
In Season Two, Martin and his son Jake move from New York to Los Angeles. They’ll attempt to avoid the nefarious Aster Corps., who are searching for Jake and who faked the death of another gifted child.
Touch bowed to a very impressive 12 million viewers in its first-look pilot airing last January, but ratings fell like a stone during the spring season — down to around 4.6 million viewers (Live + Same Day) for the 2-part finale.
Created by Tim Kring (Heroes), Touch stars Kiefer Sutherland and David Mazouz. Joining the cast this year are Maria Bello as Lucy Robbins, Saxon Sharbino as Amelia, Lukas Haas as Calvin Norburg, and Said Taghmaoui as Guillermo Ortiz.
