BBC Teases New Fantasy Series Atlantis
Take a peek at a batch of ultra-short videos promoting the new fantasy show.
The BBC is in full-on teaser mode for Atlantis, the upcoming fantasy series from the producers of Merlin and Misfits.
We’re still waiting for an actual trailer with footage from the show, but in the meantime the U.K. broadcaster has released a batch of very short videos promoting the series, which begins this autumn in the U.S. and the U.K. (BBC America has given it a premiere date of November 23, airing alongside the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special.) Check ’em out below.
Atlantis tells the story of Jason (Jack Donnelly) — of “Jason and the Argonauts” fame — and his companions Pythagoras (Robert Emms) and Hercules (Mark Addy), and will give and original take on many classic Greek myths.
