Revolution Season Two: New Details and Video!

Last season’s biggest hit is back for its second season, as Revolution preps to bow on NBC September 25.
We’ve seen just one preview video for the new season so far, but it’s a doozy. The 3-minute video starts with a recap of last year’s epic finale before leading into lots of new footage on where our characters are now.
Season Two picks up three months later, TV Line reports, after two major U.S. cities were nuked. The power is back off and the pendants have stopped working, and as a result several characters are in a dark place — especially Rachel Matheson (Elizabeth Mitchell), who has been in a near-catatonic state.
The Matheson family and the resistance fighters have been fractured. Charlie has become tangled up with a bounty hunter named Adam (Patrick Heusinger), while Tom and Jason Neville witness the mass destruction of Philadelphia first-hand when they go in search of Tom’s wife (Jason’s mother), Julia. On the way they’ll encounter the new season’s Big Bads: The Patriots, who executive producer Eric Kripke describes as “an insidious conspiracy of people who are draping themselves in the American flag, but they are not America.” Nicole Ari Parker (Soul Food) guest stars as one of their leaders, Secretary Allenford.
