Week 2 of the official 2013-2014 broadcast season this week brings us into October, and the first two premieres over on The CW: the fifth season of The Vampire Diaries, along with the series premiere of spin-off The Originals. Vampire fans, enjoy the two-fer this week — next week The Originals will shuffle over to Tuesdays.
Meanwhile we’re excited to see what’s coming up on new hit Sleepy Hollow, plus the second episode of the season for Revolution and Once Upon A Time. And can Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. keep the magic of the pilot episode — and its 15 million viewers — when it airs its second installment?

SLEEPY HOLLOW

“For the Triumph of Evil …” Abbie is reunited with her institutionalized sister after another agent of evil, the Sandman, begins to plague the dreams of the residents of Sleepy Hollow.

“0-8-4.” Coulson runs into Comandante Camilla Reyes when he and the agents travel to Peru to investigate a mysterious object.

“There Will Be Blood.” Miles finds himself in danger when he ends up in the clutches of Titus Andover; Charlie searches for Monroe; Rachel and Dr. Porter desperately try to revive Aaron; Neville devises a plan.
THE VAMPIRE DIARIES
The CW, 8/7c – Season Premiere!
“I Know What You Did Last Summer.” Season Five begins with Elena and Caroline moving into a dorm at nearby Whitmore College and getting an unexpected third roommate. Meanwhile, Katherine pleads with Damon to help her now that she is human and vulnerable to her enemies; and Silas makes a terrifying appearance at an end-of-summer party in the town square.
THE ORIGINALS
The CW, 9/8c – Series Premiere!
“Always and Forever.” Klaus meets his former protégé, Marcel, who controls the supernatural inhabitants in town; and Klaus’ former flame, Hayley, falls into the hands of a powerful witch.
HAVEN
Syfy, 10/9c
“Lost and Found.” Duke works with Jennifer to find Audrey, while Nathan and Dwight search for several children who have disappeared under the seemingly most impossible circumstances.
ONCE UPON A TIME
ABC, 8/7c
“Lost Girl.” Peter Pan presents Emma with a map of Henry’s location, but there’s a catch: Emma must come to terms with her true identity. Meanwhile, Mr. Gold gets some surprising advice; and back in fairy-tale land, the Evil Queen has a tempting offer for Snow White.
