FOX Bumps Almost Human Premiere To November 17 (New Trailer!)
The futuristic cop drama will debut over a 2-night event on November 17 and 18.
One of this fall’s most intriguing new science fiction shows will be a bit delayed.
FOX announced today that it will premiere Almost Human two weeks later than previously announced, with a 2-night event on November 17 and 18. It will start on Sunday night at 8/7c, following an NFL double-header, and then the next night settle into its regular Monday night time slot at 8/7c.
The show was originally set to bow on November 4. Now Bones will remain in its Monday time slot a little bit longer, before moving to Fridays starting November 15.
The lead-out for both is Sleepy Hollow, which returns on November 4 (9/8c) after a 2-week hiatus.
Set in the year 2048, the series stars Karl Urban (Star Trek, Lord of the Rings) as John Kennex, an emotionally scarred L.A. detective who returns to active duty only to learn that he is now required to ride with an artificial life-form — a “synthetic.” He’s soon partnered with Dorian (Michael Ealy, Sleeper Cell), a model not like the new top-of-the-line soldiers, who is programmed to act as human as possible.
J.H. Wyman (Fringe) created the series, with J.J. Abrams also executive producing.
