Sci-Fi This Week: Sleepy Hollow‘s Season Finale

One of the fall season’s biggest hits is taking its final bow for the freshman season this week. FOX’s Sleepy Hollow was always meant to be a more limited-run series (13 episodes), and tonight Season One wraps up with a 2-hour finale special. (Almost Human takes the week off to make room.)
But don’t worry, Sleepy Heads — Crane and Abbie will be back this fall.

“The Indispensable Man” & “Bad Blood.” Ichabod and Abbie discover a massive secret buried within the pages of George Washington’s Bible and unearth the shocking true nature of the founding father’s death. The battle between good and evil comes to an explosive head — sacrifices must be made, worlds collide, loyalties are tested and the town of Sleepy Hollow will never be the same.

Meanwhile, Sophie delivers some startling information about the harvest festival and presents a drastic plan to save Davina; and Hayley, racked with guilt, confesses to Elijah about her role in Sophie’s plan.

“First Born.” Crowley, who wants to reclaim his place as king of hell, seeks Dean’s help to find the “First Blade,” the only blade that can kill Abbadon. Unfortunately, Cain, the first-born son, controls it. Meanwhile, Castiel tries to extract some grace from Sam to track Gadreel.
