Sci-Fi This Week: Star-Crossed Premieres Monday On The CW
Find out what’s airing in science fiction and fantasy this week.
Broadcast network television is in a dead zone this week due to the Winter Olympics. While NBC shows the games, most of what’s airing on ABC, CBS, FOX, and The CW are reruns. But cable TV keeps plugging away with new installments of science fiction and fantasy.
The big exception to that rule is on The CW, which is kicking off mid-season newcomer Star-Crossed tonight (8/7c)! Give it a try and see if teenage angst works any better with aliens. Believe it or not that’s not the last new premiere of the 2013-2014 season: ABC’s Resurrection and The CW’s The 100 won’t bow until March.

FOX, 8/7c
“Disrupt.” A deadly crime from the future occurs when a “smart home” goes terribly bad and turns on its occupants. Detective Kennex and Dorian lead the investigation that forces them to interface with a house that is represented by a mysterious hologram character.
The CW, 8/7c – SERIES PREMIERE!
“Pilot.” Ten years after they arrive on Earth, a group of Atrian teens are integrated into a suburban high school — where Roman is reunited with Emery, the human girl who protected him when they were young children.

“Committed.” Elena returns to Toronto, but her human life with Philip is interrupted when Santos arrives with a way out of the Pack. Elsewhere, at Stonehaven, Jeremy must fight to keep his Alpha status in tact.
Syfy, 9/8c
“Cheater of the Pack.” Josh’s life takes a surprising turn and he fears for the worst in his future with Nora; Aidan struggles to stave off his hunger while remembering what he once had with Suzanna; and Sally travels back in time after receiving news from someone from her past.
Syfy, 10/9c
“Of All The Gin Joints.” Bo fights for the freedom of a talented opera singer, whose voice could be the key to unlocking the answers she seeks. Meanwhile, Kenzi is threatened by someone from Hale’s past.
MTV, 10/9c
“Letharia Vulpina.” Scott must prevent a disaster; Lydia and Allison seek an unlikely teacher.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns March 4 on ABC.
The Originals and Supernatural return February 25 on The CW.
Revolution returns February 26 on NBC.
Arrow and The Tomorrow People return February 26 on The CW.
The Vampire Diaries returns February 27 on The CW.
Once Upon A Time In Wonderland returns March 6 on ABC.

“Bloodline.” The vectors attack and take Peter’s body; Walker is held prisoner by Sutton after the true nature of Sutton’s relationship with Hatake is revealed.
Grimm returns February 28 on NBC.

“Claimed.” A number of immediate threats plague Rick; group members deal with their past.
