Sci-Fi This Week: Helix, The Walking Dead Season Finales

Three cable favorites are wrapping up their respective seasons this week: Syfy’s Helix ends its freshman season Friday night, while next Sunday it’s the last bloody hurrah for Rick Grimes and crew as The Walking Dead ends its fourth year. Are we in for another ratings record for AMC?
Teen Wolf also concludes its third season tonight on MTV.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has one more week off before its April 1 return, while The Originals is off until April 15. Revolution is also off this week.

“Stabbed With a White Wench’s Black Eye.” Emery enlists Julia’s help to find an alternate story when a tabloid photographer confronts her about cypher. Drake plans to attend a charity ball at the Grayson home to undertake an important mission, inadvertently putting Roman in the middle of a kidnapping scheme.

“Settling.” Elena enters into damage-control mode with Philip, who has become painfully aware of her romantic history with Clay; and later, breaks Pack law when the Mutts launch a coordinated attack in Toronto and threaten the human she loves.

“Endgame.” Stephen stumbles upon a clue that the Tomorrow People have been desperately searching for. John and Russell learn of a dangerous plan that Jedikiah has in the works, but no one could have predicted the ultimate outcome.

“Ramona the Pest.” The most recent death in Aidan’s life weighs on the vampire as he agrees to help Kenny get out of town; at the same time, Sally and Nora work with Josh to conquer his werewolf while dealing with a new pack and a dead little girl.

“End of a Line.” After Bo narrowly escapes an attack by a vengeful Fae, the team tracks down who sent it, only to make Bo doubt her feelings for someone she loves. Meanwhile, Kenzi’s surprised by a visit.

“The Divine Move.” One last stand is made by Scott, Derek and their allies.

“Mother’s Little Helper.” Sam visits a town where ordinary people are turning into violent murderers. His investigation reveals that the Men of Letters came to the town in 1958. Meanwhile, Dean struggles with effects from the Mark of Cain and is tested by Crowley.

“Birds of Prey.” When Frank Bertinelli is arrested, Oliver knows it’s only a matter of time before the Huntress returns to town. To make matters worse, Laurel is picked to try Frank’s case, putting her right in the path of Helena. When Helena takes hostages at the courthouse, including Laurel, the Canary will stop at nothing to save her sister.

“Earth Skills.” Having discovered that Jasper may still be alive, Clarke, Bellamy, Octavia, Finn and Monty set out on a mission to locate their friend and are shocked at what they find. Meanwhile, on the Ark, Abby is determined to get to Earth, and enlists Raven to craft an escape pod.

“To Catch a Thief.” In flashback, the Knave hunts Alice per Cora’s directive and he finds himself striking a deal to get his heart back, while in present day Wonderland, Alice and the Knave’s friendship is tested as he does Jafar’s bidding and steals from her. Meanwhile, the Jabberwocky attempts to free herself from Jafar’s control and Jafar is confronted by his former partner.

“Rescue Me.” Damon tells Elena some upsetting news about Jeremy’s personal life; Enzo opens up to Caroline about his past; Bonnie experiences an unsettling encounter with Luke; the mysterious leader of the Travelers appears after some terrifying events at a camp.

“Dans L’Ombre.” Alan and Walker battle the Scythe to save the world from disaster.

“Quiet Minds.” Neal finds himself back in Storybrooke and yearns for a way to reconnect with his son Henry, whose memories of his father are gone, while also trying to find his own father, Rumplestiltskin, whom he has just learned is alive but missing, and Regina discovers a possible connection with Robin Hood.

“Defection.” As the dragnet closes, Tate puts his freedom at risk to help Bo find the writer of a long-lost love letter. Meanwhile, Winter makes preparations for an escape from Manhattan as Skouras and Agent Ferrell ramp up the effort to bring Tate and Bo into custody.

“A.” Many paths collide; Rick faces sheer brutality; the group struggles to survive.
ABC, 10/9c
“Us Against the World.” Bellamy and Sheriff Fred form an uneasy partnership to find Caleb, who has gone on the run after Dale’s murder. After Jacob suffers a seizure, Maggie gives him a checkup at the clinic and is shocked by what she finds. Pastor Tom adjusts to the unexpected presence of his old love Rachael in Arcadia.
