Sci-Fi This Week: Halle Berry’s Extant Premieres Wednesday
Find out what’s airing in science fiction and fantasy this week.
This week CBS leaps into the science fiction genre with both feet: Extant premieres on Wednesdays and will be owning our TV dials.
We’ve been looking forward to the Halle Berry vehicle for some time now. Berry plays Molly Woods, an astronaut who in the first episode returns home after a 13-month solo mission on an orbiting space station. As she re-acclimates to life with her husband and son, Molly learns that she is impossibly pregnant.
Oh, and the kid? He’s a cutting-edge artificial life-form in whom his father-creator is trying to install authentic human emotions.
