The sophomore season of Extant is off and running on CBS, with new cast members and a new direction for the show’s story. The third episode of the new season airs this Wednesday night.
This week Julie (Grace Gummer) learns that erasing Ethan’s memory has unforseen consequences. Meanwhile, Molly (Halle Berry) finally learns what happened to her half-alien son.
Also this week: Dark Matter dives into the hidden memories of Five to reveal the violent truth about two of her shipmates, and on Dominion Alex and Noma are in search of a new ally. AMC’s Humans continues as the Hawkins learn that their Synth has a secret history they were not aware of, and a desperate Pope “breaks bad” when things get desperate on Falling Skies.

“Episode 4.” Anita is taken for testing, which yields the surprising revelation that the supposedly brand new synth is actually 14 years old, and has a past she is not aware of. Pete hates being stuck at home with Simon, but his selfish behaviour drives Jill from the house. Hobb closes in on Niska, and Mattie gets in touch with Leo, who reveals something that could change the world.
