Find out what’s airing in science fiction and fantasy
The season premieres keep on coming! This week we add two more to our weekly sci-fi schedule. On Tuesday Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. starts its third season, as Skye embraces her new life as the super-powered Daisy Johnson and the writers go big on expanding the Inhumans storyline.
Sleepy Hollow arrives on Thursday, also with its third season, as Abbie and Ichabod discover a new prophecy and a dangerous new threat — Pandora.
Also this week: Gordon is tracking a dangerous inmate who escaped from Arkham Asylum on Gotham, while Fear the Walking Dead closes out its freshman year with the season finale on Sunday. (It will be back next year for a longer second season.) Heroes Reborn continues to unfold its complex story as Noah and Quentin search for Molly Walker, and on Doctor Who the Doctor and Clara try to save the terrified crew of an underwater base.
And it’s the end of the road for our summer shows. Syfy’s Dominion closes out its second season on Thursday night, as the 8-ball army breaches the Vega … and Gabriel forces Michael to return to the mysterious small town of Mallory.
