Sci-Fi This Week: Arrow And The Flash Season Premieres!
Find out what’s airing in science fiction and fantasy
DC Comics’ heroes are back! We’re set this week for the big season premieres of The Flash (Tuesday) and Arrow (Wednesday). Barry Allen’s world is about to be turned upside-down when a gateway allows new enemies — and new friends — to arrive in Central City from a parallel universe.
Oliver and Felicity’s peaceful new life is cut short as Arrow begins its fourth season, and Oliver takes on a colorful new mantle to stand against the villainous immortal Damien Darkh.
Also rolling out this week is the sixth season debut for AMC’s zombie juggernaut The Walking Dead, where the group’s future in Alexandria remains very uncertain. It’s also the start of Syfy’s Haven, which begins its final stretch of episodes on Thursday.
Also this week: S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Fitz needs help from an Asgardian to discover where the obelisk has sent Simmons, and on Heroes Reborn Miko searches the planet to find her missing sword. The Doctor faces an alien warlord trying to prolong his life, while on Gotham the young Bruce Wayne finds himself in the middle of a very public hostage crisis.
