Sci-Fi This Week: Shannara, Agent Carter Season Finales
Find out what’s airing in science fiction and fantasy
OK, it’s confession time: I haven’t watched MTV for a couple of decades. But the cabler’s new fantasy drama The Shannara Chronicles is a lot of fun, and it’s been an entertaining ride since the show debuted at the start of January.
This week the show wraps up its first season, as the Elven kingdom tries to rally the other races to fight against the Dagda Mor and a demon army.
Yeah, that’s right. Demon army. You should watch Shannara.
Agent Carter is also wrapping up its current season on Tuesday, which will clear the way for the return of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. next week. Gotham is back with the second half of Season Two, and on Sunday Once Upon A Time returns with another run of new episodes!
Also this week: Lexa has an uphill battle to keep the Grounder clans together on The 100, and Supergirl travels to Superman’s arctic Fortress of Solitude. The Legends team is in over their heads when they try to render aid to another time ship, and Sleepy Hollow is threatened by a monster who looks like the fabled New Jersey Devil.
