Angel steps up his torment of Buffy by targeting her loved ones. Miss Calendar believes she has found a way to restore Angel's soul.

Buffy falls ill and is hospitalized, only to discover that an invisible creature is stalking a group of terminal children.

After Buffy stops a student from shooting his girlfriend, the team realizes that the ghost of a student from 1955 is reliving his rage over a romance gone wrong.

The team searches for a fish-like monster that appears to be attacking and devouring members of the school's champion swim team.

Angel's past comes to light as Buffy plans to stop him from opening a portal to hell, and eliminate him once and for all. Meanwhile, Buffy and Willow find Miss Calendar's plan to restore Angel's soul.

Buffy is the prime suspect after Angel's vamps attack the library. Spike proposes an unlikely alliance to get rid of Angel, leading to a heart-wrenching final showdown.
