Marc is thrown for a loop after he is shot and awakens inside a psychiatric ward, where Dr. Arthur Harrow claims that the life he thinks he has is a figment of his imagination ... and where a talking hippopotamus claims he and Steven are in fact in the afterlife.
When Harrow succeeds in resurrecting Ammit, Layla turns to Khonshu for help in stopping her from conquering the world. Marc gives up paradise for one more chance to save his brother and return to the mortal world.
