Maul and Savage Opress turn their eye to a band of galactic pirates, attempting to take over Hondo Ohnaka's operation for their own purposes. As Obi-Wan and Jedi Master Adi Gallia try to intervene, tensions rise between the brothers.
The Jedi arrive on the planet Onderon to train a rebel faction to fight against Separatist forces, which have formed an alliance with their usurper of a king.
Under the leadership of Saw and Steela Gerrera the Onderon rebels take their fight to the Separatists, sneaking into the capital city of Iziz to strike targets under Ahsoka's supervision.
Saw strikes out on his own to try and rescue Onderon's true king, who is being held prisoner by the Separatist's puppet on the throne -- complicating things when the rebels decide to try and save him during a public execution.
Steela leads the Onderon rebels in their fight against King Rash and the Separatists, with Ahsoka lending support but ordered not to fight their conflict for them. Elsewhere, Anakin organizes some much-needed aid for the rebellion.

Upon their escape from Abafar D-Squad is relieved to come upon a Jedi Cruiser -- only to discover that the ship as been taken by the Separatists and is being used to launch a devastating attack on a Republic strategy conference.
Darth Maul and Savage Opress are rescued from an adrift ship by Pre Vizsla, and forge an alliance with the Death Watch in a plot to seize control of Mandalore -- and take down Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Maul and Pre Vizsla attack Mandalore with a ploy to make the Death Watch the heroes of the people, wresting power from the pro-peace, pro-neutrality Dutchess Satine. But their alliance is tested when Vizsla tries to turn the tables on the Sith.
