After taking control of Jabba's palace and the Hutt's former criminal enterprise, Boba Fett and his partner Fennec Shand travel to Mos Espa to introduce themselves. Meanwhile Boba recalls his escape from a sarlacc pit and subsequent captivity.
Fett and Shand confront the mayor of Mos Espa, Mok Shaiz, in an attempt to assert Fett's authority as the new head of Jabba's syndicate. Meanwhile, Boba remembers his days of earning the trust of the Tusken Raiders – including a bold gambit to defend the tribe from a Pyke Syndicate spice train.
A water-monger in Mos Espa solicits Boba Fett's help in stopping a gang of young cyborgs he claims is stealing his water. In the past Boba attempts to exact tribute from the Pykes on behalf of the Tuskens, only to find that his new tribe has other enemies.
In the past Boba Fett finds an injured Fennec Shand, recruiting her to help him recover his ship from Jabba's palace. Later, the two attempt to convince the crime bosses of Mos Espa to unite against the Pyke Syndicate.
While Fennec Shand searches out the Mandalorian, Din Djarin reunites with the last surviving members of his clan – where his new Darksaber and its legacy for Mandalore become a point of contention.
The Mandalorian attempts to reconnect with Grogu, who has begun training as a Jedi with Luke Skywalker. On Tatooine, a stranger representing the Pykes tries to intimidate Cobb Vance and the people of Mos Pelgo.
