An orphaned teenage girl moves returns to her mother's roots when she moves to a small town in Washington State, and is stunned to learn that she is a witch.
The group continues to pressure Cassie to bind their circle, as Faye continues to demonstrate the need for such an act by using her new power recklessly. Faye's grandfather pays a visit to the town and is concerned to learn that magic is once again being practiced.
