Sci-Fi This Week: Extant‘s Season Finale

Find out what’s airing in science fiction and fantasy this week.

It’s the end of the summer, and the end of the road for the first season of Extant — CBS’s rare foray into science fiction. We’ve been enjoying the Halle Berry vehicle (though a bit more sci-fi wouldn’t kill it), and are looking forward to seeing how the story wraps up this Wednesday.

The big news for Haven fans is that the show is officially back, having kicked off its fifth season last Thursday on its new night and time. This week Duke deals with a death that hits close to home, while all signs indicate that the evil Mara has totally taken over Audrey.

It’s the final week of the summer broadcast season … which means we’ve got new seasons ready to premiere next week! Stay tuned for SciFi Stream’s complete coverage of the 2014 fall season.
